Willing to give peace of mind

Wills & People

Most people realise they should have a Will, and intend to "get around to it eventually”, but often the task is given no priority and put off until too late. Consequently one in three still die without any Will. There is also an assumption that a Will is unnecessary and that “the law” will sort things out as we would want, but this simply is not the case. Only with a valid Will can you have peace of mind knowing that your loved ones, the people you choose, will actually benefit from your life’s labours and be properly provided for.

Wills & Property

When anyone owns property, they should decide who they want to inherit it. Left to chance, intestacy rules apply which can have unwanted effects:

  • A single person’s parents would inherit which might easily create Inheritance Tax problems for them.
  • A surviving spouse may not inherit outright and part go to children which can easily create problems.
  • If property is not jointly owned, an unmarried partner will inherit nothing.

Only with a valid Will can you have peace of mind knowing that your loved ones, the people you choose, will actually benefit from your life’s labours and be properly provided for.
